Phil Cannella and Crash Proof Retirement Make Donation to CHOP

As part of his work with the 98.1 WOGL Loves Our Kids Radiothon chartiable event, Phil Cannella was on hand with his radio show co-host Joann Small to present a check for $65,000 to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) on behalf of First Senior Financial Group, the company he founded, and of the Crash Proof Retirement Show.  This donation marks the biggest donation yet for Crash Proof Retirement, and continues their three-year tradition of being the largest single donor ever for the WOGL Radiothon.  Over the past three years, Phil Cannella and Crash Proof Retirement have donated a total of $165,000 to help the kids at CHOP

Over the years, Phil Cannella has become known for his charitable work with CHOP.

“When you give a child hope, you give a child a future,” said Cannella at the WOGL event hosted at Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford Township, New Jersey, “And that’s like a boomerang: It comes back to your soul and enlarges it. If we can ‘Crash Proof’ the way they look at life right now, it’s the best gift of all.”

Now in its 11th, year, the WOGL Loves Our Kids Radiothon shows no signs of slowing down.  WOGL in conjunction with Children’s Miracle Network raised a total of $658,272 this year for CHOP, which works exclusively with kids.  That sum will no doubt give hope to a large number of children at the hospital.  Phil Cannella and Joann Small plan to work with the Radiothon again next year, continuing their tradition of making big donations to children in need.
