Cannella and Small have become fixtures at these events benefiting CHOP, and 2012 marked their third appearance at the Radiothon.  In the first two years of their involvement, Cannella and Small donated $50,000 each year, making them the largest single donors in the history of the Radiothon.  In 2012, they had a special surprise up their sleeves when they upped their personal donation amount to $55,000.  This amount came on behalf of Small, Cannella, The Crash Proof Retirement Team, and employees of First Senior Financial Group, the firm Phil Cannella founded and of which Joann Small is the current CEO.  That wasn’t the last surprise of this event, however.  Cannella and Small were even shocked when an anonymous donor and supporter of the Crash Proof Retirement Show called in to pledge an additional $10,000 to the Radiothon.

This generous anonymous supporter helped bring the donation furnished by Cannella and Small up to a total of $65,000 for 2012, continuing their tradition of being the largest single donors.  Over their three years of participation, Cannella and Small have brought a total of $165,000 to help the kids at CHOP.  As for Phil Cannella, he is happy to participate and looks forward to being a part of the event again in 2013.
